Project overview
To increase efficiency and capacity for wheat receiving at General Mill’s flour milling facility in Great Falls, MT. This included: upgraded truck receiving scale and installation of new conveyance equipment. Our team was tasked with performing these upgrades under a tight, 4-week deadline, start-to-finish, to mitigate any extended loss of production time.
Deliverables
Demolition of existing truck scale, preparation of the receiving and scale pit for the updated scale, demolition of existing conveyors, and installation of new conveyors. Our crew delivered on the client’s ask for as little downtime as possible, completing the project in 4 weeks with crews working around the clock to bring the truck receiving system back online.
