Project Team

Jim Rooney – Estimator / Project Manager with McC with over 16 years’ experience.  He has been part of the McC team since 2007.  His professional responsibilities include overseeing the Estimating department, assigning estimators to incoming work, reviewing estimates, proposals, and conducting site visits when necessary.  He also conducts weekly estimating meetings with the department and Officers to follow the status of current estimates and of upcoming work load.  Jim also helps develops relationships with customers and helps with the creation of corporate documents.

Project Experience:

Zach Stafford – Estimator / Project Manager with McC with 9 years’ experience.   Zach has been a part of the McC team since 2009.  His professional responsibilities include reviewing bid packages, assembling estimates, proposals & schedules, reviewing contractual documents, ordering material, reviewing approval drawings, and managing and overseeing various crews in the field.  He is involved throughout all phases of the project.

Project Experience:

Rick Holthaus – Project Manager with McC with over 17 years’ of experience.  Rick has been part of the McC team since 2005.  His professional responsibilities include running and managing projects, problem solving, working with and managing field crews, and procuring materials for various projects.  Rick also helps develop relationships with customers.

Peter Nordang– Project Manager with McC with over 6 years’ of experience.  Peter joined the McC Team in April 2012.  His professional responsibilities include running and managing projects, problem solving, working with and managing field crews, and procuring materials for various projects.  Peter also helps develop relationships with new clients and continues to build on the relationships established with current clients. 

Project Experience:

Eric Baarts– Project Manager with McC with over 5 years’ of experience.  Eric  joined the McC Team in June 2012.  His professional responsibilities include running and managing projects, problem solving, working with and managing field crews, and procuring materials for various projects.  Eric also helps develop relationships with new clients and continues to build on the relationships established with current clients. 

Project Experience: 

Tim Shea – Estimator with McC with 10 years’ experience.  He joined the McC team in 2005.  Tim’s responsibilities include assembly estimates and proposals for various projects either through bid packages, site visits, or verbal communications.  He has experience in Design / Build, Grain Handling and Storage Systems for Ethanol facilities, Feed Mills and Cement Plants.  He also is experienced in applications involving material handling equipment, slip form construction, and various other excavation and construction projects.  He is also responsible for sourcing equipment and necessary materials needed to complete the project on time and within budget.

Project Experience:

Jim Mahon – Estimator with McC with over 35 years’ experience in the industry.  He joined the McC team in 2011.  Jim’s responsibilities include estimating Industrial & Agricultural projects,  direct and indirect responsibility for design and RFQ’s for scopes of work, responsible for working closely with subcontractors and supplies to ensure requirements and timely responses on RFQ’s, and is responsible for the timeline management of small construction  projects consistent with budgets.

Project Experience:

Dan Torgeson– CAD Technician with McC with over 15 years of experience.    Dan’s responsibilities include general arrangement drawings for new plants, drawings for additions and expansions, discusses drawings and equipment layout with the Project Managers and Estimators, responsible for all drawings that come into the office and makes sure they are provided to the correct PM, and reviews and records all shop drawings.  He is proficient in SolidWorks and 3-D modeling. 

Project Experience:
